Thoughtful Care. Clear Expectations. Safety at Every Step.
Your comfort, privacy, and safety matter.
Good To Glow provides professional, compassionate postpartum RN support within a clearly defined scope of care. These policies help ensure a safe and respectful experience for you, your baby, and your nurse.
Scope of Care
Good To Glow provides private, in-home postpartum RN support, education, and maternal-newborn care.
Support may include maternal recovery education, newborn care, feeding support, breast pump education, safe sleep education, postpartum comfort measures, newborn soothing and routine guidance, and identification of concerns that may require follow-up with a healthcare provider.
Good To Glow does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, independently change treatment plans, or replace your OB/GYN, midwife, pediatrician, primary care provider, lactation consultant, mental health provider, or emergency medical care.
Medical & Emergency Safety
Good To Glow is not an emergency medical service.
If you or your baby experience symptoms that may indicate a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate medical attention.
If a concern is identified during a visit that falls outside the scope of postpartum RN concierge support, you may be advised to contact your healthcare provider or seek further medical evaluation.
Your safety and your baby's safety will always take priority.
Safe Sleep
Good To Glow follows current evidence-based infant safe sleep recommendations.
Babies are placed on their backs for sleep on a firm, flat sleep surface in an appropriate crib, bassinet, or other approved infant sleep space.
Good To Glow will not intentionally participate in infant sleep practices that create a foreseeable safety concern.
Safe sleep education will always be provided respectfully and without judgment.
Feeding Support
Good To Glow supports breastfeeding, pumping, formula feeding, combination feeding, and bottle feeding without judgment.
Support may include feeding education, positioning, pump setup, bottle preparation, paced feeding, milk storage education, and recognition of feeding concerns.
Concerns requiring specialized assessment or treatment may be referred to your pediatrician, IBCLC, or other appropriate healthcare provider.
Illness Policy
Because postpartum mothers and newborns can be especially vulnerable to illness, families are asked to notify Good To Glow before a scheduled visit if anyone in the household is experiencing a contagious illness, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, significant respiratory symptoms, or another communicable condition.
A visit may need to be rescheduled when illness creates a potential risk to the mother, newborn, or nurse.
Good To Glow will extend the same courtesy if illness could place your family at risk.
Your Home Environment
A safe working environment is required during all in-home visits.
Families are responsible for providing safe access to the home, appropriate utilities, necessary newborn supplies, and a safe infant sleep space.
Pets should be appropriately managed when needed for safety.
Smoking, vaping, recreational substance use, threatening behavior, harassment, or other unsafe conduct is not permitted in the immediate care environment.
Good To Glow reserves the right to pause or discontinue a visit if conditions become unsafe.
Cameras & Home Surveillance
Good To Glow understands that many families use baby monitors, doorbell cameras, and home security systems.
Cameras or recording devices located in areas where care will be provided must be disclosed prior to services beginning.
Recording devices are not permitted in areas where there is a reasonable expectation of privacy.
Additional surveillance terms are provided within your client documents.
Privacy & Confidentiality
Your privacy is important.
Personal, family, and health-related information shared with Good To Glow is treated confidentially and used only as necessary to provide your care, communicate with you, maintain appropriate records, or meet applicable legal requirements.
Photos, testimonials, or identifying information will never be publicly shared without appropriate permission.
Professional Boundaries
Good To Glow provides warm, personalized support while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
Requests outside the RN scope of practice, your service agreement, or established safety standards may be respectfully declined.
Good To Glow is a postpartum RN concierge service and not a housekeeping service. Light mother- and baby-related tasks may be incorporated into visits when appropriate, but maternal recovery and newborn care remain the priority.
Scheduling, Cancellations & Payments
Scheduling, retainers, payments, cancellations, rescheduling, and refund policies are outlined in your Client Service Agreement.
Because time is reserved specifically for each family, availability is limited and certain payments may be non-refundable as outlined in your agreement.
Clients are encouraged to review all service terms before care begins.
Care You Can Feel Confident In
Good To Glow is committed to providing postpartum care that feels safe, professional, nurturing, and deeply personal.
